![]() ![]() ![]() Is the play really to just go torchless, hope for the best and then dump the party once they're out, until you have enough money to actually afford supporting your heroes? Because otherwise it feels like I just barely scrape by until suddenly I. Which is sort of a problem, considering that the missions you get seem to escalate as you complete them. I've actually seen some people suggest that the -5 stress per week is enough, but that really seems like BS.Īlso, how would you rank the different dungeons in terms of difficulty? My first thought is that the ruins and warrens are the easier of the two, the weald and the cove seem absolutely nightmarish by comparison for heroes that haven't been upgraded at all. Bringing stress back down is way too expensive for the amount of gold you get in a run, especially when at some point you need to start locking down quirks and actually upgrading your heroes, but *not* de-stressing them just seems like a recipe for heart attacks. When heroes first show up, they're pretty pathetic, and no amount of focusing down stress-dealing enemies can truly make up for how quickly stress builds up. This is the thing that's always prevented me from getting *anywhere* in Darkest Dungeon.
